Rabbis Letter 5785

B"H

Dear Friend

We hope this letter finds you and your family well,

On behalf of Chabad of Glendale & River Hills, we’d like to express our deepest gratitude for your continued membership and support.

As we reflect on the past year, what stands out most is the unity and feeling of community, both globally and here in our own Chabad of Glendale family.

If this year has taught us anything, it is that all Jews are one. Outwardly we may look different from each other, coming from various backgrounds, with unique customs and languages, but on the inside we are the same.

At Chabad of Glendale, every Jew is welcomed with open arms. It’s a place where strangers become friends and friends become family. No matter your background or journey, you’re embraced with love, no questions asked.

It is you, the members of our community, who facilitate these moments of belonging and connection with those around you. Through an invitation to a shabbat meal, assisting others in personal matters, taking a moment to catch up after Minyan or at the Kiddush, and the connections that carry outside of the Shul space. There is so much love, camaraderie, and  community.

As we begin the new year we invite you to formally join our Chabad of Glendale & River Hills family.

We don’t believe in assessing mandated membership dues, instead we rely on the generosity of our participants to support as best you can to continue creating opportunities for Jewish growth and learning.

While our doors are truly open to everyone, we hope you will consider joining us with a “formal” membership. Some can give $50 others $50,000, and others contribute with their time and talents. Together we each make Chabad of Glendale the special place it is.

We hope you’ll start the New Year with us at the High Holiday services that are sure to inspire. We’ve always prided ourselves on providing uplifting and meaningful services that are open to all. This year will be no different. There is always a place for you at Chabad of Glendale!

Wishing you a happy, healthy, sweet, and peaceful New Year!
Shana Tova!
