Each Sunday morning Chabad Hebrew School kids get to experience Judaism in a meaningful and interactive way, through engaging lessons and trained staff! 

 

Mission Statement:
 

Through a warmhearted and sincere approach emphasizing the joy and delight in Judaism, Chabad Hebrew School strives to instill knowledge, ownership, and pride in a child’s Jewish heritage.

Learning and exploration take place through specialized units that develop deep understanding and appreciation for Jewish practice and values.  A holistic whole-family style of learning encourages growth for the entire family through special  programs and events throughout the year.

Curriculum: 

The 2024- 2025 Chabad Hebrew School Curriculum is the Israel Quest - Heritage Unlocked: What is our connection to the land of Israel? When and where did it all start? Students will embark on a journey to connecting with our homeland, through a story that started 3,000 years ago! 

Before each Jewish Holiday there will be a specially curated pre-holiday lesson, gaining insight into the upcoming Jewish holiday as well as special workshops where students can experience the holiday! 

The Pre-Holiday Experiences are open to the public, free to CHS families and include:
-Rosh Hashanah DIY Shofar Factory 
-Chanukah Olive Press Workshop
-Purim The Great Hamentash Bake 
-Pesach Model Matzah Bakery 
-Shavuot Ice Cream Party

 

Hebrew Reading, Writing, and Language Skills:

Through our Alef Champ Karate Style Hebrew reading, writing, and language program, students gain skills, practice, and mastery over the Hebrew Language. 
Alef Champ is custumized to each student so that students recieve one-on-one instruction and can advance at their own pace.
