Rosh Hashanah Service Schedule

The following options are available this year for our community. Due to social distancing requirements, reservations are necessary in order to organize seating accordingly.  Please RSVP! 


1st Day - Shabbos Rosh Hashanah / Saturday, September 19th

  • The traditional full High Holiday services - at 8:00am indoors with mandatory masks and social distancing, with a maximum of 25% occupancy. Services will begin at 8:00 AM  Adults only.
  • Torah Reading and Sermon only - at 10:00am in an open-walled tent at CLTC -  with mandatory masks and social distancing. 10:00am 6789 N Green Bay Ave.

 

2nd Day - Rosh Hashana / Sunday, September 20th


Option 1 - The traditional full High Holiday services - at 8:00am indoors with mandatory masks and social distancing, with a maximum of 25% occupancy. Services will begin at 8:00 AM  Adults only.   RSVP HERE

Option 2 - Short and Sweet New Year Services  - 9:35 Torah Reading, Rabbi's Sermon and 10:15 Shofar Blowing -  in an open-walled tent. At  CLTC - 6789 N Green Bay Ave.  RSVP HERE

Option 3 - Shofar Stations - There will be outdoor “Shofar Stations” set up around Glendale, (click here for locations and times) where we will sound the Shofar on Sunday. You can attend and stand at an increased comfortable distance and fulfill the Mitzvah of listening to the Shofar. All are welcome.  RSVP HERE

Option 4 - For those who are not attending gatherings of any type at this time, and will be praying at home, we have prepared a DIY services manual for you to take home.  In addition, we will be happy to provide/loan you with a Hebrew/English Rosh Hashana prayerbook to use at home.  RSVP HERE

Unable to leave home? If you wish, we will try to have someone come to your home to blow the Shofar for you. There is no guarantee we will be able to do so, but we will do our best. Let us know you're interested on our RSVP form.
